  1. Thank your for the useful information! I am actually surprised to find out that sieved organic spelt flour is low in FODMAPs. Is it known how the sieving process affects the FODMAPs content?

    1. Hi Zongiefon,

Process of "sifting" organic spelt flour removes certain amounts of bran that is naturally found in spelt flour. This in effect reduces the amount of fructans to a level that is deemed tolerable to IBS individuals.

      Hope that helps, Peta

    1. Hi Fevie, We haven't tested organic sprouted grain spelt yet, we can add this to our list. We do recommend however that you try some in small amounts first to test your tolerance and then increase quantities if symptoms are well-controlled.

      Kind regards,
